What the UCAT tests
The UCAT is the admissions test used by most UK medical and dental schools. It is taken on a computer at a Pearson VUE test centre over the summer before you apply, and it is tightly timed, so technique matters as much as ability.
Lessons cover each subtest: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement. Test dates and format can change each year, so we always check the details against the official UCAT website with you.
How lessons work
We start with a timed diagnostic mock to see where marks are being lost. From there we build a plan up to your test date, with targeted practice on your weakest subtests, timing drills and a review of every full mock you sit.
- A clear weekly schedule that fits around school
- Strategies for each question type, not just more questions
- Full mock reviews to find patterns in your mistakes
- Advice on choosing universities that suit your score
Who teaches
Sessions are led by Adam, a 5th-year dental student at King's College London, with support from current medical and dental students who have recently been through the UCAT themselves.
